How $HERO funds open-source AI.
Training a frontier model costs about $10 million a run, and a few dozen labs can afford it. Open-source AI falls behind because of funding, not talent. $HERO pays for an open alternative from the trading fees people generate when they use the app. Every run spends the token, every spend is a trade, and 95% of the fee funds open-source training.
A flywheel that spins on something real.
Every memecoin claims a flywheel: buy, price rises, attention, more buys, spinning on nothing until it stops. The True Flywheel puts a load on the wheel. Each turn leaves behind a trained open-source model and a dataset, real things that exist whether the price is up or down, and that output pulls in the next turn.
Run any model in the catalog. Each run spends $HERO.
Spending routes $HERO through its Base pool, and every trade pays a 1.2% swap fee.
The 0.7% creator slice splits 95% to the treasury, 5% to Doppler. About 0.665% of each trade.
It funds compute and research at the open-training networks already building open models, then the loop repeats.
↻ more usage → more fees → more open-source training funded
Rather than build one lab, the fees fund the open-training ecosystem (companies like Prime Intellect) to ship as many open models as possible. See the roadmap.
Every run also produces a prompt-and-output pair: synthetic training data for the same open models the fees fund. So each run contributes twice, in funding and in data (opt-in).
Where your $HERO goes
Every trade pays a 1.2% swap fee. Here is where each part goes:
Treasury: 95% of the 0.7% creator fee. Funds open-source AI.
Doppler: 5% of the creator fee (the launch protocol).
Bankr: the platform we launched on. Charged on top; doesn't touch the treasury's share.
The treasury, in the open
$HERO token: 0x9250532be9…07242ba3
Real unclaimed creator fees, read live from Base. They fund the compute now and the open-source training as the treasury grows.
How to use it
Connect a Base wallet and swap ETH for $HERO. That swap already generates fees.
Pick any model and spend $HERO. The payment goes to the collection wallet on Base.
Your spend and the fees it generates go toward open-source model training.
